OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH
1.We believe in the inspiration, inerrancy, and completeness of the accepted canon of Scripture in the Old and New Testament as originally given. (1 Corinthians
2:13; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21)2.We believe in the eternal Godhead who has revealed Himself as one God in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; distinguishable but indivisible. (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 John 5:7 NKJ)
3.We believe in the creation, test, and fall of man as recorded in the book of Genesis; man's total depravity and inability to attain to Divine righteousness. (Romans 5:12-18)
4.We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior of all people, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, having a sinless life, very God and very man. (Isaiah 7:14; 9:6; Luke 1:26-35; John 1:14, 18; 1 John 3:5)
5.We believe Christ died for our sins, was buried, rose again on the third day, and personally appeared to His disciples. (1 Corinthians 15:1-8; Romans 4:25)
6.We believe in the bodily ascension of Jesus to heaven, His exaltation, and His personal, literal, bodily Second Coming for the church. (John 14:2-3; Acts 1:9; Philippians 2:9-11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
7.We believe in the salvation of sinners by grace alone, through repentance and faith in the perfect and sufficient work of the cross of Calvary by which we obtain remission of sins. (Romans 5:11; Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 9:12, 22)
8.We believe in the necessity of baptism in water by full immersion in the name of the eternal Godhead in obedience to Christ. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:37-38)
9.We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as experienced after salvation. (John 7:37-39; Acts 1:5, 8; 2:1-4; 8:14-18; 9:17; 10:44-46; 19:1-6)
10.We believe in the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit in 1 Corinthians 12:7-11 as manifested by Jesus in the Gospels and the early church in the Book of Acts.
11.We believe in the healing of the body by the power of the Holy Spirit as practiced by the early church. (Acts 4:30; 1 Corinthians 12:9; James 5:14)
12.We believe in the Spirit-filled life, a life that is purified by His Holy presence. (2 Corinthians 3:18; 6:14-7:1; Ephesians 5:18)
13.We believe in the Lord's supper, open communion with all believers in Christ. (1 Corinthians 10:16-17; 11:28-32)
14.We believe in eternal life for the believer and eternal judgment for the unbeliever. (John 3:16; 5:24; Mark 9:43-50; 2 Thessalonians 1:9; Revelations 20:10-15)
15.We believe in the reality of Satan and the eternal judgment of Satan and his demons. (Matthew 25:41; Revelations 20:10-15)
