Healing the Sick Part 8

Jesus Christ can heal people through every Believer
You learn a little, you keep healing the sick, you keep learning and adding to what you know.
 
Half-Full Gospel?

1. Acts 1:8 or/and Acts 2:4? 'Bless me' club or rescue mission?
2. Romans 15:17-19 The Full Gospel message includes miracles, signs, and healing.

 
Possessed and Expressed by Faith
Galatians 3:1-5 Beginning by believing. Miracles by the Spirit through faith.
 
Compassion and the Ultimate Motivation
Matthew 9:13; 12:7; James 2:13 Mercy triumphs over judgment. (KJV rejoices over judgment)
Matthew 9:35-38 Compassion: crowds were harassed and helpless like sheep without a shepherd.
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 Power to heal, move mountains, etc. is hollow, bankrupt without love.
 
Power in the Ephesian Church

1. Ephesians 1:15 Faith and love in the Ephesian believers. (Revelation 2:4 forsaken first love.)
2. Ephesians 1:16-17 Paul's prayer: they would have wisdom and love to know God better.
3. Ephesians 1: 18 They would know the hope to which He called them.
4. Ephesians 1:18 They would know the riches of His glorious inheritance in them.
5. Ephesians 1:19-20 They would realize the incomparable great power that is at work in them, the same power that raised Christ from the dead.
6. Ephesians 3:20-21 Jesus Christ can do immeasurable more than we can ask or think by the power that is at work in us.

 
They touch you! Shaking hands, prayer circle

1. 2 Kings 13:20-21 A dead man touched Elisha's bones - resurrection life!
2. Mark 5:24-34 Crowds, but a sick woman with faith touched Jesus, was healed. (Mat. 9:20-21)
3. Mark 6:53-56 People healed who pressing through to touch the edge of His cloak.
4. Luke 6:17-19 All tried to touch him because power was coming out of Him.
5. Acts 19:11-12 Handkerchiefs and aprons that touched Paul brought healing and deliverance.

 
Creative Miracles

1. Restore, resurrect, or create a new functioning part of the body.
2. Three couples barren for 5 years fell under the power of the Holy Spirit, now have children!
3. Cancers may fall off, be vomited up or simply disappear.
4. Teeth straightened. Cavities filled. Diane's  a root canal. Jill's 15 fillings at midweek service!

Ministry in Meetings, small or large:

1. Calling words of Knowledge: What Jesus reveals, He heals.
2. Mass prayers: Challenged to believe for God to touch many - TL Osbourne, Carlos Anacondia
3. Get them to touch the afflicted area of their body.
4. After prayer, get them to do something they couldn't do before.
5. People had to do something: rise up, stretch forth, go show yourself.
6. The man who was healed kept putting his hat on and off. He couldn't lift his arm for years!
7. Improvise: Plan B - Ashby and I sing outside the venue. Man healed one thing after another!
8. Hunter miracles: One night one ear was opened, and the next night the other ear.
